It definitely makes the sunshine feel a whole lot warmer on your skin, the sky seems to be the brightest blue you've ever seen and your child's smile is the most beautiful thing you have ever laid your eyes on. It is a bittersweet feeling when you know how very close to death you've been a and that you are STILL standing!Stefeniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04278714232697499851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3411742878167645288.post-22178853272901975592011-06-19T14:32:25.891-07:002011-06-19T14:32:25.891-07:00I have read Jake's reports and had the same fe...I have read Jake's reports and had the same feelings reading about how bad he was at times. I remember reading about how they "Brought him back" when he coded shortly after birth. And after his Glenn reading about the hole that was punctured in the back of his heart and seeing the how difficult it was to stop the bleeding. It just makes you realize how miraculous our babies truly are. Love you and your miracle!David "Andy" Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09200985615873253804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3411742878167645288.post-56470200921170324322011-06-19T14:30:29.623-07:002011-06-19T14:30:29.623-07:00Amy, I have had the same experience and I'm so...Amy, I have had the same experience and I'm so grateful for the beautiful way in which you are able to express these thoughts. For me: the words, "vitals not compatible with life" hit me very hard. Those were the words used to describe my child hours after her birth. She is doing fine now! Praise God. Thank you for sharing your family's journey in this blog.katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08236345926031197598noreply@blogger.com
